We currently have 3 football pitches marked out, with different size goals to suit the appropriate age of youngsters playing.
These pitches are as follows:
11v11 – 90m x 53m, with 24’ x 8’ and 21’ x 7’ goals
9v9 – 66m x 41m, with 16’ x 7’ goals
7v7 – 56m x 37m, with 12’ x 6’ goals
Most organised junior football is played at Hauxton Sports Ground, through the partnership between Hauxton and Whittlesford Warriors junior football club. These matches take place most Saturday mornings during the football season, ie September to May. Shelford & Stapleford Strikers also play here on Saturday mornings using the 9v9 and 11v11 pitches.
The Warriors draw youngsters from around the local villages, including Hauxton itself, and have teams grouped by age from under 5 through to under 9 playing at the Lawns recreation ground at Whittlesford, and the under 10, under 11, under 14 and under 15 teams playing at Hauxton Sports Ground. It is hoped to bring older age teams to Hauxton in the future.
Adult football teams will be welcomed at the Sports Ground. Please contact the Gary Page on pagegj@btinternet.com for more information.

Disability Football
The Football Clubs that play at Hauxton Sports Ground are inclusive and would welcome any player with a disability. If you are interested in playing or training with a specific disability team, however, you may want to look at what is happening across the wider area. You can find more information here.
