Hauxton Village Hall sits at the centre of the village, both physically and community-wise. Before becoming the village hall the building was the village school and then the pre-school. The village hall is run by a Trust known as the Hauxton Village Hall Charity (Registered Charity No. 272354), which was set up, as a condition of purchase, when it was purchased in 1976 by the Parish Council from the Benefice of Hauxton for the sum of £10,100. Hauxton Parish Council became the Sole Corporate Trustee on 24 July 2018, when the previous trustees retired and appointed the parish council, as part of the build up to the construction and running of the new village hall.
